During the time of breaking the fast is one of the best times to make dua, as recommended by the prophet (pbuh). Sharing our most loved dua pins on @pinterest InshAllah these will be available for a free download on our website very soon.
Having something to eat, even if it’s small, like some dates and water, is a sunnah of the Prophet (pbuh) and highly recommended. You can say your intention out loud or in your heart.
Dua for starting your fast:
O Allah! I shall fast for Your sake, so forgive my past and future sins
Dua for breaking your fast:
O Allah! I fasted for You and I believe in You and I put my trust in You and I break my fast with Your sustenance
Ibn ‘Abbas narrated, “Allah’s Messenger ﷺ was the most generous person, and he would be at his most generous in Ramadan because Jibril would come to him every night and he would study the Qur’an with him. Truly, when Allah’s Messenger ﷺ would meet Jibril, he would be more generous than a fleeting wind.”
