Sabr (patience) is when, regardless of how harsh life gets, you remember wholeheartedly that Allah has beautiful things in store for you.
“Whoever persists in being patient, God will make him patient. Nobody can be given a blessing better and greater than patience.” (Al-Bukhari)
To live life whilst being beautifully patient is a treasure.The reward of sabr is limitless. Meaning that all of the other actions have a fixed reward, but not Sabr. This is the one action which has no fixed reward. That shows how great and tremendous is the recompense. Just imagine then the bounties and the pleasures that await you in this world and especially in the Hereafter because of your patience.Sabr is beautiful because Sabr is worth all the good that comes with it. And remember, Sabr is to always be kinder than how you feel. That’s when you’ll truly embody beautiful patience.
“… those who patiently persevere (al-sabiruna) will truly receive a reward without measure” (Surah Az-Zumar, 39:10)
